i was reading this crazy book called ' The Lure Of The Dark Side' Satan & Western Demonology and popular Culture.
It has loads of crazy theories about Satan being the Son of god, The genisis, of Vampires , witches and shapeshifters being given a gift by satan to join in the army of evil.
Its so dark.
But logically if the storys in the bible are real, then the storys of Satan and his army of ghouls are real too right?
The storys are as old as each other.
Sooo yeah, found this and it got me thinking on how the represention of satan, evil and myths are representated within fashion photography.
founds these and love these.
i want to do an accerisories editorial with representions from the genises. referencng paintings of incubi and storys of satan and his army of evil.
shooting on out of date film.
my mission is to find someone who makes sweeet props for films and shizzell.
i.e horns, hands, cloachs, gloves, tails, legs, teeth, bodys,

ReplyDeletehave you seen 'the hunger' olivia? it's a vampire film with david bowie in and it's amazing and shot beautifully. also found this flickr stream with a lot of vampire/evil looking film stills on that might be useful for you, i have been browsing through for hours. very beautiful.

Hayley- yes i have see the hunger, i bought it and watch it last week. its amazing although the ending freaked me out & there were No fangs? the start was pretty sweet when they rbought back those two teens from the bar! sweet.defo check out that blog. cheers babs!
